SOCIAL MEDIA REACTS TO LEBRON GETTING ON MADDEN 21 DURING SOCIAL JUSTICE MEETING WITH PLAYERS (PIC + TWEETS)

On Wednesday evening, it was reported that the Los Angeles Lakers and Clippers both voted to end the NBA playoffs in a meeting among players remaining in the bubble.

The meeting took place after Wednesday’s games were postponed amid player protest of the police shooting of 29-year-old Black man Jacob Blake.

In the midst of that meeting, social media users and Madden enthusiast happened to noticed that LeBron James had seemingly checked out and promptly jumped on Madden 21.

Here’s how social media reacted:

After reports leaked Wednesday night that the Lakers — led by James — and the Clippers had voted to leave the bubble, there was a shift in thinking, leading to the decision to return at a meeting among players.

It would soon be announced that the teams agreed to continue play.

Shortly after the reports came out of the resumption of the playoffs, James tweeted: “Change doesn’t happen with just talk!! It happens with action and needs to happen NOW! For me @Ipromiseschool kids, kids and communities across the country, it’s on US to make a difference. TOGETHER. That’s why your vote is @morethanavote.”
