Monday night, we possibly witnessed the softest and most ridiculous playoff ejection in NBA history.
Kristaps Porzingis was already on thin ice with a weak technical foul he received in the first half, but he would go on to receive another one that effectively ejected him from Game 1 against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Porzingis came in to protect teammate Luka Doncic, who had gotten tangled up with the Clippers’ Marcus Morris.

Among the many people who took issue with it was Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes.
That’s trash man! 🗑 #NBAPlayoffs

He was hardly the only one:
Man that was BOGUS AS HELL MAN!!!!! Cmon man. 🤦🏾♂️

Really really really really dumb and stupid and lazy and unfair to eject Porzingis for THAT…just hideously wrong and lazy on every level.

What a break for the Clippers. No way Porzingis should be ejected. One tech for complaining over what he thought was a good block (it was a foul). Now this for rushing to the defense of Doncic and giving MMorris a tiny shove. So wrong.

Kicking Porzingis out of a playoff game here is such an outrage. Totally ridiculous.
