Protesters have crowded the streets everyday on the Minneapolis intersection where George Floyd lost consciousness with the knee of a city police officer pressing against his neck.
Video showed the unarmed black man laying face-down on the pavement while he could be heard verbally telling police officers that he could not breathe.
Floyd, 46, was pronounced dead at a hospital shortly thereafter.
On Wednesday, the Minnesota Vikings decided to release a statement on the matter since it happened just a few blocks away from U.S. Bank Stadium.

Four cops have since been fired as a result of their actions earlier this week.
The case is under investigation by the FBI and Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
