The Dallas Cowboys are not in the best place right now. They started the 2019 season 3-0 and had fans thinking of a possible Super Bowl run. Then, reality came crashing in as they lost back-to-back-to-back games to the New Orleans Saints, Green Bay Packers, and previous winless New York Jets.
Earlier this week, former Cowboys WR Michael Irvin suggested the team go out and sign Antonio Brown if Amari Cooper was going to be out with an injury, especially with their next game coming against the Philadelphia Eagles.
So, would Jerry Jones actually go out and do it? The Dallas Cowboys owner was presented that question if he was interested in signing the former New England Patriots, Oakland Raiders and Pittsburgh Steelers receiver and he sounded like a man who wanted nothing to do with it.
“I don’t want to be talking about any other player. I like our depth. I’m not speaking to Antonio. I’m not speaking to anybody. But I believe we’d go with the depth we have,” Jones said according to The Athletic.
Jerry Jones was asked on @1053thefan about having interest in Antonio Brown if injuries continue at WR: "I don't want to be talking about any other player. I like our depth. I'm not speaking to Antonio. I'm not speaking to anybody. But I believe we'd go with the depth we have."

Despite the losing streak, the Cowboys are tied with the Philadelphia Eagles for the NFC East lead, so a win on Sunday would put them back on top.
As for Brown’s career, he’s likely looking at staying on the sidelines as the league continues to investigate sexual misconduct claims against him. Not to mention, he tends to be a bit of a headache with his antics on social media and in his private life.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell recently spoke to the media about Brown’s status in the league and they have yet to make a decision.
“We’re still working at that,” Goodell said from the league’s fall meetings in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. “I will probably be getting an update when I get back to New York, but our folks have been working diligently on that, going through materials. There’s a lot of material to go through. When we reach a conclusion, we’ll obviously let you know.”
