EX-49ERS’ DANA STUBBLEFIELD’S WIFE ADMITS HE CHEATED WITH MENTALLY DISABLED GIRL, DENIES IT WAS FORCED (VIDEO)

Former San Francisco 49ers football player Dana Stubblefield has been sentenced to 15 years to life in prison for the 2015 rape of an intellectually disabled woman.

The 49-year-old was convicted in July following a nine-month trial. A jury found Stubblefield guilty of rape by force, oral copulation by force, and false imprisonment after he was said to have lured the woman to his home with the promise of babysitting work. The jury also found that he used a gun in the assault.

Dana Stubblefield’s wife recently spoke out with TMZ Sports, and while she admitted that her husband had sex with the mentally disabled woman, she claims that is wasn’t by force.

“There’s no denying they had sex, but he didn’t rape her. He didn’t have a gun. Dana is 300-something pounds. I don’t think he needs a gun to hold down somebody at all.”

Terri also says Dana is “not that kind of person. He’s a very sweet person.”

Terri says she needs Dana to help raise their children and she’s terrified at the idea he could spend the rest of his life in prison.”

She praised two of his friends and former teammates for sticking by him, but says most of them have turned their back on him in recent years.

“I believe that some of his other teammates that I thought he was closer to would step forward and they haven’t.”

“Please don’t think that Dana is a monster because he’s not. He is a great person and you all know better. Don’t let the media fool you! He’s a really good person, a great father, caring with a big heart. He just made a mistake.”
