BUCKS PART OWNER AARON RODGERS REACTS TO THE GIANNIS 5-YEAR, $228M SUPERMAX EXTENSION

On Tuesday, back-to-back NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo committed to the Milwaukee Bucks long-term.

Antetokounmpo plans to sign the full five-year, $228 million supermax to stay with the Milwaukee Bucks.

“This is my home, this is my city,” Antetokounmpo posted on Twitter and Instagram on Tuesday. “I’m blessed to be able to be a part of the Milwaukee Bucks for the next 5 years. Let’s make these years count. The show goes on, let’s get it.”

It was massive news for the team, the fans, and Aaron Rodgers.

The Green Bay Packers quarterback was elated to see Giannis is sticking around in Wisconsin for a little while longer.

“It’s a big signing for us, we’re pretty ecstatic. Hopefully we can keep rolling for the next five years,” Rodgers said via Lily Zhao.

It was back in 2018 when Rodgers expanded his business portfolio as a part owner of the Milwaukee Bucks.

Rodgers joined a Milwaukee ownership group that includes the three primary owners: Wes Edens, Marc Lasry and Jamie Dinan.
