Pittsburgh Steelers and Ben Roethlisberger in primetime are practically unbeatable.
According to Steelers’ PR Manager Dom Rinelli, Big Ben is 18-3 in primetime games at home for his career. Thursday will be the first home primetime game that the Steelers play in 2017. Their one other primetime game came against the Detroit Lions, which they won, but it was on the road.
These numbers augur particularly well for Steelers’ game on Thursday. Why? Because Roethlisberger has never lost a Thursday Night Football game at home in his entire career. He is 5-0 in such games, showing just how well he is able to prepare on short notice.
Teams with strong quarterbacks and coaches are at an advantage during short weeks for just that reason, and against only a third-year pro in Marcus Mariota, the Steelers should expect that same advantage this week.

Absolute monster numbers. That quarterback rating, for example, is nearly 15 points higher than Roethlisberger’s career rating of 93.6.
