Antonio Brown becomes 1st Steelers WR with 5 straight 1,000 yard seasons

Steelers WR Antonio Brown who has an autographed John Stallworth jersey in his locker matched one of Stallworth’s records while breaking another iconic Steelers receiver’s record during Thursday’s victory over the Titans.

Brown had 10-catch, 144-yard, three TD effort in Pittsburgh’s 40-17 win against the Titans. He tied Stallworth as the only wide receivers in franchise history to post two three TD games. He also reached 1,000 receiving yards for the season, breaking a tie he shared with Hines Ward for the most consecutive 1,000-yard receiving seasons.

Antonio Brown now has five straight 1,000-yard seasons and six total 1,000-yard seasons since being drafted by the Steelers in the sixth round back in 2010.

Thursday night was another vintage performance by Brown, who will probably join Ben Roethlisberger in the Hall of Fame when his playing career is over.

Among his big plays include this touchdown reception that saw him use his helmet to secure the pass.
